The Greater Johnstown Cambria County
Chamber of Commerce and the University
of Pittsburgh at Johnstown have joined
together to provide a unique new service
that links organizations in our region
with Pitt-Johnstown students and alumni.
The new service is called the
BizConnection, a website that allows
Chamber members to have exclusive access
to recruit students and alumni at
Pitt-Johnstown for job openings and
internships in our region. Initially,
the service offers access only to
students and alumni in Business fields,
including Accounting, Finance,
Information Systems, Management, and
Marketing.
The service works like this: If a
Chamber member has a job opening or
internship opportunity, they can post it
directly on the BizConnection site,
where Pitt-Johnstown students and alumni
will be able to view and consider it.
Pitt-Johnstown students then have the
opportunity to respond to the posting by
entering their resume information for
Chamber members to review on the
BizConnection site.
This service has the potential to
provide a great networking opportunity
for Chamber members and Pitt-Johnstown
students and alumni alike. The service
is offered free of charge to all Chamber
